Dallas, TX — The Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) is gravely concerned about
the escalating threats directed at the Anthony family following recent events related to
the case involving 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony.

Over the past several days, there has been an alarming increase in death threats,
continued harassment, and physical intimidation targeted at the family’s home. These
actions have included:
● Individuals are physically visiting the Anthony family home, loitering, and taking
photos of the property.
● False food deliveries, including pizzas and other orders made to disturb and
harass the family.
● Disturbing mailings were received through the U.S. Postal Service, including an
obituary of Austin Metcalf sent directly to their address.
● Unidentified individuals repeatedly circling the family home, capturing images,
and attempting to provoke fear and intimidation.
Because of these credible threats — and especially due to the environment created by
the recent “White America” rally — the situation reached such a dangerous level that
the Anthony family was forced to evacuate Karmelo Anthony from his home over the
weekend to an undisclosed location to ensure his immediate safety, approved by courts.
NGAN’s internal security team, working closely with local law enforcement agencies,
has been actively coordinating efforts to safeguard the Anthony family during this
extremely volatile period.
"It is both heartbreaking and infuriating to see the depths of hate and bigotry
still alive and well in our society," said Minister Dominique Alexander,
President of the Next Generation Action Network.
"No family should have to live under siege simply because they are
demanding their constitutional rights. We will not be silent, and we will not
back down. We are committed to doing whatever is necessary to protect this
family and to ensure that justice is pursued without intimidation or fear."
The Anthony family remains resilient in the face of these vile attacks, but the emotional
and psychological toll cannot be ignored.
We are sharing images and documentation of the threats the family has faced this past
weekend to make the public aware of the dangerous atmosphere that has been created
— an atmosphere fueled by organized hate, systemic racism, and intentional
misinformation.
NGAN continues to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Anthony family and with every
family fighting for dignity, justice, and safety in this country.
