A catalyst for social change
The Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) is a multicultural, not-for-profit organization founded in August 2014 in Dallas, Texas, by Minister Dominique Alexander, along with co-founders Damon Crenshaw and Keyaira Saunders. Established in a city once labeled "the most racist city in America," NGAN has become a powerful catalyst for change, addressing systemic inequalities and racial oppression.

people, policy & politcal power
Guided by its mission to lobby for social change and equality for all, NGAN operates at the intersection of grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and community reform. The organization’s unique approach emphasizes People Power, Policy Power, and Political Power, which collectively drive its work to dismantle injustice, empower communities, and inspire generations. NGAN’s reach extends from local neighborhoods to national movements, where it has played a significant role in high-profile cases and protests, including the Ferguson uprising, the Sandra Bland Act, and the Crystal Mason case.

national reach and impact
NGAN’s impact is as multifaceted as it is far-reaching. The organization has addressed some of the most pressing issues of our time, including police accountability, racial justice, educational equity, and civil rights. From organizing some of the largest protests in North Texas to influencing statewide and national legislation, NGAN’s work has fundamentally reshaped the conversation around social justice.
